The MACHE school year starts with a party! Families are invited to come and bring your favorite food items to share in a delicious pot-luck meal. Entrees, desserts (like ice cream ), or whatever you would like to bring. We meet at a local park with a covered pavilion, so the adults can visit while the kids play. We present MACHE's list of activities for the year, and spend lots of time just visiting and meeting everyone.

We will have membership applications on hand, and sign-up sheets for the activities.

All MACHE member families are invited, and anyone curious about homeschooling. If you are considering MACHE membership, this is a great place to come meet our families.

• Food and/or drinks for the pot-luck meal
• Fun stuff for the kids to share (basketballs, volleyballs, etc)
• Willingness to have fun and meet people
• Questions about homeschooling (if you have any)
  
• Check book - to pay yearly MACHE membership dues ($20, or $25 if paid after September 15), and to buy a MACHE T-Shirt ($9 per person for all sizes)
